Cooshen is an Armenian brand that creates natural body skincare, facial skincare, and massage products made primarily from the mature fruit of the loofah plant.

Loofah is an annual plant belonging to the gourd family. When its fruit fully matures, it naturally transforms into a fibrous sponge. Rich in skin-loving benefits, loofah gently exfoliates, stimulates circulation, and supports healthier-looking skin. With regular, long-term use, it can deliver truly remarkable results.

Loofah is safe and beneficial for most people. It is especially suitable for those who are sensitive to sponges made from synthetic materials. Before the first use, we recommend testing it on a small area of skin to make sure your skin responds well to it.

Before use, soak the loofah in water. When dry, it is firm and textured, but once it absorbs water, it becomes pleasantly soft.

If you have very sensitive skin, skin conditions, acne, or open wounds, we recommend consulting a dermatologist before use and avoiding the use of loofah on affected areas.

Due to the natural variations in loofah fruits, the final products can have different levels of firmness. In addition, during the production process, we carefully select and process softer loofah varieties for facial care products, while firmer ones are used for body care.

When placing your order, please let us know your preferred level of firmness, and we will send you the most suitable option.

Yes, loofah can be suitable for children, but it should be used with care and the appropriate type of loofah should be chosen.

Why?

• Mature loofah can be quite firm and may irritate or damage a child's delicate skin.

• Children's skin has a thinner protective barrier, so excessive friction can cause redness or irritation.

From around the age of 5, loofah can generally be used, provided it is used gently, without excessive pressure, and not on a daily basis.

We grow our loofah in Armenia, in the Ararat Valley (Araks (Vagharshapat) community, Aratashen village, Armavir Province).

If you would like to always carry your comb with you in your bag, smaller options may be more convenient.

The handled version is preferable if you would like to hold the comb by a separate grip area.

Larger combs cover more hair, making the styling process more effective.

The personalized engraving service costs 1,500 AMD for each selected item and is charged in addition to the product price.
